GRIT TRAINING COURSES
This 3 day course establishes the fundamentals of using a pistol and rifle, then progresses to advanced practical skills: shooting while moving, engaging multiple targets, and shooting from behind cover.
This 2 day course is a Single-Officer, Two-Officer, and Three-Officer Room/Structure Clearing for Patrol Officers as well as how to navigate moving in a hallway, and moving through intersections.
This 3 day instructor course prepares students to teach firearm fundamentals and advanced dynamic shooting skills. Trainees will learn instructional methods, lesson planning, safety management, and performance coaching, plus the practical shooting techniques needed to instruct others in shooting while moving, engaging multiple targets, and shooting from behind cover. Emphasis is placed on safety, measurable learning outcomes, effective demonstration, and progressive skill development.
This two‑day course trains Designated Marksmen to accurately engage targets and to properly employ their precision carbine for the scenarios they’ll encounter in everyday duty.
This 5 day course combines GRIT’s 2 day High Threat and 3 day Warrant CQB Course’s to give tactical teams 5 days of training to take a team to the next level
3-Day Advanced Sniper Course — For SWAT and Precision Marksmen Course overview Designed for SWAT operators and precision marksmen ready to advance their skills, this intensive three-day course trains the tactical shooter to operate with greater accuracy, effectiveness, and adaptability in both urban and field environments. Instruction focuses on advanced fieldcraft, precision rifle marksmanship, interior and exterior ballistics, positional shooting, and a broad range of practical marksmanship drills tailored to operational realities.
This 2 day course focuses on marksmanship requirements for high-threat engagements with pistol and rifle, whether operating on the street or inside a structure. Training emphasizes accurate, rapid shot placement under stress, effective weapon transitions, controlled movement, and target discrimination in dynamic environments.
Course Overview
This 2 day Active Shooter Course emphasizes accuracy, precision, movement, and realistic environment-based training. The program begins with intensive live-fire range work focused on accuracy and shooting while moving, then progresses to scenario-driven training in administrative and school settings to replicate the environments participants will operate in.
This 3-day course teaches and establishes the principles of close-quarters battle (CQB) using the “L”-shape points of domination for room and structure clearance. Students will progress from foundational concepts to live, team-based drills focused on disciplined movement, communication, and lethal/less-lethal decision-making in confined spaces.
This 2 day, skills-focused course trains officers to operate with confidence and competence in the high-risk environment of vehicle-based encounters. Instruction emphasizes realistic, scenario-driven practice for defensive and offensive actions from inside, and around vehicles. Students will learn decision-making, weapon retention, movement, cover utilization, and legal/ethical considerations necessary to safely control threats when the vehicle is the focal point of a use-of-force incident.
